Craft, Art and Story Workshops available on request. Upcycled Nature Crafts

A workshop demonstrating how to make unique flowers, decorative birds or cute cacti and succulents from all sorts of materials including recycled, paper and felt. Suitable for beginners, adults and children aged over 8 years old.

Scrappy Fabric & Embroidery

A fun workshop using scraps of recycled materials, textiles and embroidery to create collage, badges and weavings. Suitable for beginners, adults and children aged over 8 years old.

Digital Explorers

An Introduction to Creative Apps – Apps are a great way to develop ideas and create art and animation. This workshop aims to introduce the exciting world of digital creativity and free or reasonably priced apps available to use. Suitable for beginners, adults and children aged over 8 years old.

Pixel Art – Follow the pattern or create your own pixel art design with this relaxed and easy to complete workshop. Suitable for beginners, adults and children aged over 8 years old.

Coding for Beginners – A workshop experimenting with projects using MIT’s educational coding platform ‘Scratch’. The workshop aims to be a fun way of learning coding, important problem solving skills and communicating ideas. Suitable for beginners, adults and children aged over 8 years old.

Science Scribblers

A science themed craft session for kids. Exploring everything from making a paper zoetropes, hama bead science tiles, pixel art to creating your own mini box zoo and clay animation. Suitable for beginners, adults and children aged over 4 years old.

Stories and Crafts

A story and craft activity designed for children under the age of five. The sessions utilises books borrowed from Wigan Libraries and combines themed stories, songs and making. A friendly and fun experience for families helping to develop valuable communication, imagination and inter-personal skills in young children.
