I founded Artist Discussion in May 2019, to provide advice and peer support for artists of all disciplines. In recent times, the group has moved online. The discussion group is delivered on a voluntary basis. The group often covers subjects relating to artistic practice such as sexuality, politics and religion. Please can I ask that all artists joining the discussion are sensitive when discussing politics or religion and as much as possible to avoid language that may offend.

Life Drawing and Practical Art History

The Artist Discussion team has expanded with the addition of two fantastic artists – Anna FC Smith and Klaire Doyle. Anna and Klaire work collaboratively with artists across the North West, delivering (pay as you feel) Life Drawing classes and Practical Art History sessions online. Tickets for Life Drawing and Practical Art History, please visit the Ticket Shop.

Follow @ArtistDiscuss on Instagram, Twitter and visit the Facebook page to post a questions, start a discussion and share ideas. (Please keep posts supportive and respectful, thanks!)

Thanks to the local arts and culture community, Cross Street Arts, Umbrella Arts and Wigan STEAM for their ongoing support.
